This role will work across the engineering teams to be the glue that facilitates the flow of features to our customers while keeping our quality bar high and fostering continuous improvement. This role is specifically focused on the Solution engineering for VMware MAPBU. You will work with all Engineering & product teams to identify, prioritise, and deliver a product which helps to manage different services & Product in a single control plane. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement in our processes so that we can deliver a product that can run and operate at scale.YouYou love helping individuals, teams, and programs reach their full potential. You enable programs to connect those goals to overall Business Unit and VMware Objectives, maintaining alignment within the overall roadmap. You are capable of understanding distributed systems, how they work, and partnering with engineering teams to set the technical direction, vision, and strategy. You are capable of managing a program around a nascent SaaS(DBaaS) platform solution with early customer adoption as it evolves and scales towards an established, mature product in the market.Desired Skills / Experience:Experience delivering releases across complex programs in which several product teams are delivering product features and managing dependencies with other programs and products within a large portfolio.Worked on Product engineering or SaaS Services or have some knowledge about management of On-Prem & Cloud services products.Familiarity and experience with agile software delivery methodologies and lean governance.Able to define, establish, and maintain a consistent, traceable decision-making process across a heterogeneous landscape of stakeholders.Facilitates planning and coordination efforts with Go-To-Market and Sales teams to support their schedules and planning, tracking, and communicating product delivery expectations with potential and existing customers.BA/BS in Computer Science or related fields is a plus.Equal Employment Opportunity StatementVMware is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: VMware is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
