Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute software test strategies, test plans, and test cases
  • Develop test inputs and Execute test cases
  • Work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
Must have:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Good experience in testing Smart Meters and AMI/AMR systems
  • Knowledge in writing scripts using C#
  • Experience with setup and troubleshooting one or more of the following environments: Highly complex data/wireless/server/database environments
  • Good knowledge on object-oriented design, current web technologies (SOAP/Rest based Web Services, WCF framework, WSDLs, XSDs, APIs etc.)
  • Good knowledge of OOPS concepts
  • Good understanding of Version control tools like GIT
  • Previous experience with formal test automation scripting preferably Selenium - Experience in automated testing of Web based applications and good understanding of client-server architecture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving, organizational and ownership skills
  • Strong hands-on knowledge on Test Process and Methods
  • Experience using Test Frameworks and tools like VSTS, ADS etc.
  • Good experience with CI/CD using Azure pipelines and MS build
  • Good understanding in designing and debugging framework using C#.
Good to Have:
  • Experience working on agile software development processes (e.g. SCRUM/Kanban/XP)
  • Exposure to Azure DevOps system
  • IPv6 networking, Familiarity with IoT, Analytics and Data processing
  • Solution debug (Wireshark, putty, performance monitoring)
Good Experience working with Database Systems (SQL and Oracle),
