Designs and develops a software validation environment, the integration, and the enabling of the software stack. Responsible for the creation of validation plans, automation, associated methodologies, and triage and debugging of failures. Writes validation standards and procedures, analyzes the results to ensure correct functionality, triages failures, and recommends or develops corrective action. Assesses the state of the art and employs new methods to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency.Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics/others with 9+ years of experience or Masters degree in any domain with 6+ years of experience in validation. Experience in validation of Linux kernel mode modules. Chrome OS validation is desirable. Experience in Linux operating system such as Ubuntu/CentOS/Fedora/Redhat Experience with Linux scripting such as Shell, Python, Go and Perl. Experience with a variety of tools including Jenkins, BuildBot, JIRA, and Github/Git/Gerrit Skilled in git patch manipulation and rebasing Experience submitting patches, reviewing patches, submitting bug and writing convincing arguments to patches or bugs desired.
