Technical Solution Consultant - Flexera + ITAMThis role has been designated as Edge , which means you will primarily work outside of an HPE office.Job Description1. Develop and implement continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies in End to End Asset Management Life Cycle2. Responsible for asset management database (CMDB) entries and updates, incorporation of warranty, lease, user, lifecycle status changes and validations and reconciliation activities.3. Assist with internal and third-party software vendor audits, industry-compliance reviews and true-ups4. Provide software metering tracking and identify candidates for software harvesting using existing tools and processes5. Reconciliation between various data repositories to ensure consistency of all data sources6. Investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity of the asset data7. Exposure on Software Publisher tools such as MVLSC, Visual Studio, Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, Oracle Partner Network, etc.8. Managing preparation and distribution of pre-defined and ad-hoc reports related to asset management9. Experience implementing and administrating Flexera FlexNet Manager Platform (FNMS) and/or similar industry standard ITAM solutions10. Design and implement technical solutions on Flexera FNMS platform.11. Troubleshoot, identify, and implement technical fixes for product issues, integration issues, data discrepancy and business reporting.12. Install, maintain agents, execute agent and application upgrades, create, manage customizations to import data, produce reports as needed.13. Execute application patch and version upgrades.14. Ensure all components are optimized, including the Product Use Rights Licenses (PURLs), beacons, data tables etc.15. Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services.16. Drive innovative and out of the box thinking17. Software Asset Management experience with Flexera Knowledge desirable18. Maintain and update management report on SAM activities19. Understand and interpret third party software licensing usage, Enterprise Agreements and provide advice/guidance to business as appropriate.20. Create and Maintain Process documentationMandatory Skills & Experience1. Must have at least 3 yrs. of working experience on FNMS2. Must have experience on FNMS installation, patch and version upgrades.3. Must have experience with integrations like Active Directory, CMDB systems, Tanium, Flexera App Portal, JAMF, Oracle and other procurement solutions.4. Exposure to License Management and ITAM Concepts.5. Knowledge on licensing metrics of various publisher6. Strong knowledge of ITIL v47. Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure and end user computing systems8. Customer/Onshore facing experience9. Ability to drive process improvements10. Experience in transitions11.
