Job ID: JR0155666Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Bangalore, KA INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireThermal Power Management EngineerJob DescriptionConducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk. Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems. Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Understand the system architecture, work with platform and silicon PnP validation teams to understand the system performance capability at different conditions. Use silicon debug hooks to measure thermal/power/performance and other KPI metrics and work to improve thermal power and performance to meet customer requirements with respect to various platform domains and enhance the overall UX.Qualifications0-3 years of experience with M.E/ M.Tech in any of the following departments from a reputed university in Embedded Systems/ Applied Electronics/ Electronic Design and Technology/ Microelectronics and VLSI Design/ VLSI System Design Basics of multicore/multiprocessor architecture Good understanding of platform components and system architecture Operating systems/RTOS/Linux kernel internals, scheduling policies, locking mechanism, MMU/paging etc. System level validation and debug of Thermal, Power and Performance KPIs Ability to perform Si debug using measurement instruments like Lauterbach, Scope, DAQ, Logic Analyzers etc.Inside this Business GroupThe Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intels PC products and platforms, spanning form factors such as notebooks, desktops, 2 in 1s, all in ones.
