Must have 2+ years of experience in Mortgage - Title SearchSearch for and verify titles.Search real estate records.Retrieve closing files for accuracy.Examine lot books,geographic and general indicesand assessors rolls to compile lists of transactions.Summarize legal or insurance documents.Compile lists of mortgages,contractsand other instruments pertaining to titles by searching public and private records for law firms,real estate agenciesor title insurance companies.Search,analyzeand evaluate records relating to titles of homes,landand buildings.Ensure that the title to a property in question has no restrictions that may prevent or hinder its sale or use.Issue title insuranceacquire rights of waybuy and sell propertygrant mortgage loansand obtain and protect mineral rights.Search public and private records for law firmsreal estate agenciesor title insurance companies.Confer with realtorslending institution personnelbuyers,sellers,contractors,surveyorsand courthouse personnel.Examine deeds,deeds of trust,liens,judgments,easementsand plats/maps to determine ownershipencumbrancesand to verify legal descriptions of property.Prepare property reports and title commitments.Analyze chain of title and preparation of reports outlining title-related matters.Prepare title commitment.Must be open for Night shiftsRegardsTeam HR
