Job Description

L2 Should have basic understanding in Linux OS and MySQL DB. In depth knowledge of Monitoring of components such as Applications, Databases and Servers Creating Health rules as per the requirements of customer Understanding the application flow and having basic idea on the parameters that are supposed to be monitored in any Application Worked on configuration of various extensions that are available in Appdynamics. For eg. Process, Logs, kafka, NGINX etc. Deployment of Machine agents, Database agents and Application Agents. Should be aware of command line operations specific to AppDynamics Should be able to check the errors in logs in case of issues with AppD controller or any machine that is into monitoring Coordinate with Application team to understand the proper requirement and implement applications into monitoring. Following up with vendor in case of critical issues related to AppD. Configurations of SMTP servers into AppD for Realtime notifications. Creating SOPs on deployments of monitoring agents. Providing KT to Junior team members. L3 Creating/Build platform end to end Setting up concourse for the platform Upgrade of AppDynamics Application Troubleshooting real time issues. Should have good understanding on Linux OS and MySQL database Handling escalated issues. Installing new AppDynamics application architectural requirements Tuning platform for getting right alerts and capacity planning for resource usage Restoration of complete platform during disaster Failover process and documentation Runbook creation for platform. Sensitivity: Internal && Restricted End to End communication of Platform from DC infrastructure. Integration of Appdynamics with ticketing tools. Providing presentation to customer on entire monitoring architecture.
