*Daimler Trucks & Buses:In line with Daimler s upcoming global restructuring, effective December 01, 2021 the various research and development activities for Daimler s Trucks & Buses business is proposed to be consolidated under a separate, newly formed India Innovation Centre headquartered at Bangalore. The above advertised position shall belong to the newly formed Innovation Centre.ABOUT DAIMLER AG ( www.dailmer.com ) JAVA - Senior developerJob responsibilities:

  • You should have fair knowledge on UDS protocol (unified Diagnostic Service)
  • Good exposure towards usage of ODX (Open Diagnostic eXchange)
  • You will be responsible to design and develop software modules for Telematics systems
  • Understand existing systems to be able to add features or provide bug fixes
  • Unit test and use SIL methods to ensure quality releases
  • Thrive towards automation
Job experience:
  • 4-6 years of experience in embedded systems development with as much programming experience
  • ~4 years of Java development experience
  • Experience in working with Linux like environment
  • Experience in Automotive domain, with exposure to in vehicle networks
  • Experience in Telematics domain with overview of Telematics Control Unit, Telematics use cases and how everything fits in the context of IoT
  • Experience in variety protocols from different layers Serial protocols, CAN, TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT
  • Inclination towards scripting shell scripting, python which assisted in automation
  • Having been a part of an agile team
Technical skills:
  • Embedded software development
  • Knowledge on UDS protocol. (Unified Diagnostic Service)
  • Understanding on ODX.
  • Core Java, OSGi, SprintBoot, JNI
  • jUNIT or TestNG or Mockito
  • Well acquainted with IDEs like eclipse, IntelliJ
  • Exposure to java build systems ant, maven, gradle
  • Practical knowledge on Computer Networks Socket Programming in Java
  • Security Concepts Public key cryptography, Encryption
  • Concepts in the web HTTP, TLS
  • Understanding on Service Oriented architectures, preferably REST.
  • CANOe, CAPL
  • Python, bash, windows batch scripting
  • git, jira, gerrit, RTC
