Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application. What you will be doing

  • Expert in install, configure and maintain Linux operating systems
  • Experience on Linux (Redhat 6 and above)
  • Knowledge of Backup Technologies
  • Knowledge of Veritas Products like VXVM, VXFS, Cisco UCS, Performance Troubleshooting.
  • Network Services (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, NIS, MAIL, APACHE)
  • Scripting (CGI, PHP, Shell, Perl or python)
  • Expert in User/account/service Management
  • Must know all aspects of the build process
    • Networking Theory (TCP v UDP, netmasks, multicast, traffic analysis)
    • RPM management
    • Storage technology internal disks/SAN and NAS
    • Virtual and Physical machines
    • Experience with Cisco UCS a strong plus
    • YUM server configuration
