Job Description

    About you: Your roles & responsibilities will include:
    • Analyze, design and develop Test automation solutions for critical platforms at GUI and API level.
    • Work with project teams in execution, trouble shooting automation packs on regular basis.
    • Design, code and Maintain effective plans for Execution and regular maintenance of Test automation packs/solutions
    • Constantly review latest trends in the market and industry in the area of test automation develop POC s and enhance test automation practice of the COE
    About your skills & experience:
    • 4+ Years of strong and hands on programming skills in JavaScript, Java and/or Python with experience in SQL/Database connectivity
    • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining test automation suites on leading automation tools across Web, Desktop and Mobile platforms
    • Hands on experience in likes of Selenium, HP UFT/LFT and other industry leading test automation tools
    • Strong experience in key automation (Agile/DevOps) utilities like Maven, Gradle, Jenkins and TestNG.
    • Strong skills in source control systems like GIT, subversion and others and experience in code merging across the teams on daily basis.
    • Good understanding web GUI technologies like Protractor, HTML5, Angular JS, React JS (and other JS based frameworks), XML/JSON and others.
    • Develop and maintain utilities for generation of test data and related masking techniques
    • Strong Test design and scripting skills to understand and design automation code according to manual test scripts
    • Exposure to test management tools like HP ALM, Zypher and JIRA
    • Exposure to Test design methodologies like BDD with Cucumber, SpecFlow will be advantageous.
    • Exposure to Cloud Deployment, virtualization and related technologies is plus
    • Exposure to Machine Learning and AI how these technologies can be incorporated into Test automation will be a definite plus
    About your qualifications:
    • MBA/ Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting or Economics
    • Industry relevant certifications in Programming, Test automation tools and frameworks in commercial and open source domain.
