Job Description

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in PHP development, including object-oriented PHP
  • Expert knowledge of WordPress custom post types, custom fields, plugins, theme development, WordPress database and WordPress APIs
  • Experience with WordPress Multisite
  • Skilled in HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, and CSS
  • Good working experience in MySQL including the use of efficient SQL commands
  • Experience transferring data through endpoints using APIs/ RESTful APIs
  • Test new website code prior to deployment
  • Use Git to manage source code
  • Ability to write, debug and test scripting languages like JavaScript and jQuery
  • Ability to debug and refactor existing PHP code that Role Responsibilities to Expect
  • Develop a custom website and theme using WordPress
  • Implement and build out wireframe specifications
  • Gather requirements from the project team and translate them into easy- to- use and functional solutions
  • Work in a team environment to ensure project completions
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to the website after completion working with Embitel
  • Freedom to challenge norms, make mistakes, learn and grow

  • Socially adept
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5/XHTML, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
