  • Collaborates with WFM colleagues, and with project managers, subcontractor agencies, and/or people managers.
  • Coordinates and reports project staffing status updates, reviews and provides candidate lists and availability updates, and provides other project and resource information as needed.
  • Negotiates with projects to finalize resource deployment.
  • Communicates staffing status and closure actions to all stakeholders
  • Contributes to analysis of WFM trends and results for the area supported.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
  • Japanese level 3 (N3) certification and above or its equivalent
  • Fluent English Speaking & Writing skills
  • Expertise in WFM Tools and Processes
  • Knowledge of Resource Deployment Life Cycle
  • Utilization and financial metrics concepts and their application
  • Brings professional knowledge related to the role assigned and area supported by applying:
  1. Time management skills to complete assignments by scheduled date
  2. Interpersonal communications and social skills
  3. Oral and written communications skills
  4. Detail-oriented focus
  5. Planning and analysis skills to support capacity management activities
  6. Knowledge of IBM s consulting organizations
Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseMs Office (Excel, word, ppt, MS Access)WFM is a key factor in meeting project staffing needs and in maximizing IBM s revenue and profit.
  • Proficiency in Reading and speaking Japanese language
  • Independently completes assignments that align resource capacity with business strategies to ensure utilization and financial targets are met.
  • Independently uses all resource channels to achieve successful practitioner placement.
  • Single point of contact for resource needs for small projects.
  • Independently completes WFM processes, including deployment, reporting, tracking, documentation, and utilization, and supports achievement of IBM s revenue and profit goals.
  • Applies IBM organizational knowledge to find suitable resources
  • Experience in working / supporting Globally Integrated Delivery organization
  • Contributes to capacity management plans for the area supported and contributes to various status reports.
  • As needed, validates the accuracy and integrity of WFM data entered in WFM tools
