Job Description

    Job descriptionMust have Oil & Gas procurement experience, required 10 to 15 year experience Job location Kochi Selected candidate needs to travel to Benin ( West Africa) as and when required. Principal responsibilities: This position shall directly report to the Procurement/Project Manager. His key function is to monitor the overall procurement activities of Suppliers and EPCC Contractors. The duties and responsibilities includes (but not limited to) the following: Overall Function:Monitor and supervise the performance of procurement activities of Suppliers and EPCC Contractors.Verify Suppliers and EPCC Contractors invoices against procurement progress and actual delivery of materials and equipment at site.Monitor the submission of the Suppliers and EPCC Contractors procurement reports and documentation which include, MR and vendor list, technical evaluation report, Purchase Order Progress Report, Material Delivery Status Report, Material/Stock Status Report, Third Party Inspection reports and Vendors Final Documentation. Monitoring Suppliers and EPCC Contractors procurement activities:Review the EPCC Contractors detail procurement plan and monitor actual progress against the plan. Review and recommend for approval the EPCC Contractors vendor list, materials requisition document, Purchase Orders and vendors documentation.Monitor the purchase order placement schedule, quoted delivery date, vendor manufacturing and delivery schedule.Review bid submission for major materials and equipment from EPCC Contractor Vendors in verifying that the proposals are in accordance with contract requirement.Monitor the EPCC Contractors submission of the Third Party Inspection reports on manufacturing activities of materials and equipment from various location of manufacturers.Monitor the materials and equipment expediting activities of EPCC Contractors to ensure the expediting roles are effectively functioning.Ensure that manufacturing progress of EPCC Contractors procured materials and equipment is closely monitored.Monitor the logistic activities including trafficking, clearing, forwarding, and inland transportation of EPCC Contractors procured materials and equipment.Monitor and ensure that receiving inspections of materials and equipment arrive at site are carried out by EPCC Contractors. For free supplied items, ensure that joint inspection is carried out at point of custody transfer.
