Job Description

*POSITION DESCRIPTION:Our firm is seeking a professional IT Business System Analyst with experience in both information technology and business administration. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the global Automation Solutions IT Teams, Business Unit IT, and business teams while supporting IT projects as well as daily monitoring and issue resolution. This senior-level candidate will also be responsible for providing Oracle solutions for business requirements related to enhancements and projects. A strong candidate will have 6 plus years of experience with Oracle Order management/Quoting modules and working knowledge of Oracle Financial modules (AR/AP/GL). He/She needs to be detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly innovative, and can work in a fast-paced matrixed environment RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for analysis, design, and implementation of new or enhanced business systems following IT standards.
    • Acts as a lead for system enhancements and project implementations
    • Performs as a subject matter expert for system projects - Providing Oracle Solutions
    • Assume responsibility for project tasks and ensure they are completed accurately and in a timely fashion
    • Responsible for development of business and IT requirement list including definitions and system flows.
    • Work with the technical analyst and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications.
    • Responsible for implementation including testing, readiness assessment, training, hardware capacity evaluation and performance evaluation.
  • Identifies system impact of changes from the internal business, end-user needs, external business environment (i.e. government regulation), and operating specifications.
  • Identifies opportunities for improving processes through system automation and alerts
  • Develops, submits, and seeks approval for business system change requests. Upon approval coordinates implementation.
  • Review s requirements and recommends solutions
  • Creates and maintains documentation of assigned systems and process flow
  • Responsible for training other IT and Business team members
, *SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor s degree in IT/Business or related field
  • Experience: 6 plus years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Distribution modules is required. Modules preferred Order Management, Oracle Quoting, Inventory, Purchasing, Cost Management, and Oracle Financials.
  • Strong business system analyst skills including writing and executing SQL queries.
  • Can effectively function in a global matrixed and team environment.
  • Can lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment.
