Name of Posts Junior Research Fellow Number of posts 01 (One) Name of the Research Project Agricultural Chemistry, Peasants and pursuit for Agricultural Improvement in British India, 1870-1940s Name of sponsoring agency Indian National Science Academy Duration of the position Initially One year (extendable based on performance and availability of funds) Fellowship / Monthly compensation Rs.18,000/- + HRA Essential qualifications and experience Master s degree in modern Indian History/social sciences with minimum of 55% or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University) Need to have excellent writing skills in English. Understanding of written Hindi and preferably Bengali (not mandatory) NET qualified or with at least 2 years of research experience Desirable and Responsibilities Would be responsible for conducting archival research mainly in the Delhi NCR.
