Job Description

*The Person

  • The individual we are seeking needs to have experience across PMO disciplines and different tooling - ServiceNow, Source, JIRA,
  • Strong Project Management skillset and experience of Prince2, MSP
  • Able to work under pressure and to high quality.
  • Able to work with complex and different data sets and produce powerful MI dashboards
  • Able to understand Budgetary information in terms of Spend incurred on projects.
  • Advanced Ppt skills to support on template creation and management packs
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Essential
    • Ability to work positively with the full range of individuals and groups and capable of developing and maintaining effective working relationships.
    • Knowledge and experience of techniques for planning, monitoring, data analysis, reporting etc, including risk management.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills
    • Flexible in working style, happy to roll sleeves up and get involved
    • Project Management grounding and understanding of core Project Management attributes - Plans, RAID Log, Status updates, Change Control, Steerco and Status packs
    • Highly Proficient in Word and Powerpoint
    • Highly organised
    • Strong commercial acumen
    • Strong communication and presentation (written and verbal) skills
  • Advance Excel skills, data extraction and business modelling
  • Proficient in MI reporting and populating management and operational reports
  • Self-starter, confident and flexible individual. Determination and personal effectiveness, to tackle challenges and manage deadlines
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere and flex approach where needed
  • Can take direction but also be able to work independently
  • Driven and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion without upsetting others.
  • Strong communications skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience of working in a Professional Services environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working within a large IT /Technology environment
Desirable
  • Experience of project and programme management approaches, specifically Prince2 and Microsoft Project
  • Experience/knowledge of agile methodologies
  • Experience of working on projects
  • Power BI
