Job Description

    Role Title: Business Head SouthLocation: Chennai / Kerala/ Bangalore / HyderabadJob Purpose: The Business Head is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership for 4 Live TV Channels of South and will closely coordinate and work with the senior leadership team. The role involves forward planning, making strategic decisions, managing the P&L, overall operations, and resources of the LIVE TV channels.Key Accountabilities:
    • Envision business, strategy, long term, and short-term goals, with a view to ensuring future business relevance, credibility and viability. Convert long term vision into strategy and further to long term and short-term goals of the company
    • Achieve the business results agreed upon with respect to top line and bottom line. Installs a governance mechanism of the highest standards
    • Manage Key stake holders. Including relationship with CEO / CRO / CBO / Editors of all the channels and corporates
    • Build and strengthen relationship with advertisers and media buying houses.
    • Promotes programs and services that are produced in a cost-effective manner, employing economy while maintaining an acceptable level of quality. Oversee the fiscal activities of all South LIVE TV Channels including budgeting, reporting and audit.
    • Facilitates the integration of us into the fabric of the community by using effective marketing and communications activities.
    • Listens to clients, volunteers, and the community to improve services and generate community involvement
    • Prepare, review weekly, monthly, quarterly annual operating plan and revenue generation
    • Design strategies to achieve these plans.
    • Ensure profitability by managing the cost through different streams of revenue generation including subscription model
    • Develop and implement performance metrics, incentive structure, sales promotion schemes and processes to monitor key input parameters to increase the overall productivity of the team.
    • Build creative capabilities in house and to structure teams to be able to deliver different types of content
    • Manage sales and creative teams and the flow of deliverables
    • Build review and analytics around platform content
    Desired Candidate Profile:
    • Incumbent with strong understanding of sales, business, client servicing for digital content and who can manage sales as well as creative teams.
    • Expertise in building strong client relationships for the company for content and revenue partnerships
    • Strong understanding of cost and P&L management.
    • Good Understanding of Digital space like video, stories etc, social media and other content
    • Must have good understanding of South Market in terms of Business and Content
