Roles and Responsibilities: Interfaces with business owners to understand requirements, suggest solutions, troubleshoots problems and supports business data needs by leveraging the various technologies and data modelsUses Excel and other open source reporting solutionsMentors, advises, and educates business users on the proper use of information to address their business questions and improve their business processesApplies advanced analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into analytical and reporting requirementsQualification & Experience: Bachelor of Engineering, preferably in Computer Science/ or related fields or Masters, from a premier college5 years of prior work experience in a Data Analyst/ Business Analyst role.Experience conducting data analysis, data profiling, data discovery, validation, etc.Strong knowledge of effective use of information for business decision makingStrong data analysis and problem solving skillsSolid experience with SQL, MySQL Workbench, ExcelExcellent ability to read data models and understand database table relationshipsSolid knowledge of Microsoft office tools specifically Excel and VisioExperience facilitating working sessions with users and gathering requirementsExcellent analytical and process skillsExceptional communications skills: verbal, written, presentationHighly detail oriented, and able to multi- task, working in a fast paced environmentIntellectual curiosity for BI related concepts and technologiesWorks as an independent contributor and team player,
