Job Description

Responsible for overall Engineering Activities.

  1. Strict adherence to cGMP norms and safety rules of the factory.
  2. To manage Modifications, Maintenance and Utilities.
  3. Day to day monitoring of Power & Fuel consumption.
  4. Discussions with Production and Purchase to solve related problem.
  5. Cost saving on energy, Manpower and Engineering Spares.
  6. Ensure compliance of legal and other requirements related to ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999.
  7. Ensure continual improvement in OHSAS & EMS Management systems.
  8. Execution of works related to ISO-9000 & 14001.
  9. Monthly monitoring of Preventive Maintenance Schedules.
  10. To lodge insurance claims and submit related paper to Accounts Department for the Equipment and Buildings covered under Machinery Breakdown Policy & Fire Policy.
  11. Monitoring of monthly Breakdown Analysis of all equipment and reduction planning of down time.
  12. Identification of Risk & Hazard, Environmental aspects & evaluation and review the same.
  13. Institute operational controls, monitor the key characteristic, carry out root cause analysis for the Non conformity and take CAPA.
  14. Identify training needs for development.
  15. Ensure SH&E requirements with respect to contracted services and service providers.
  16. Responsible for obtaining statutory licenses and renewal for Captive Power Generation and other connecter matters.
  17. Creation of facility/up gradation of equipment for production activities.
  18. Monitoring OPEX.
  19. To implement and lead the Manthan/Bandhan/SFTI targets.
  20. Preparation of monthly MIS Statement.
