Job Description

Lead - BI and Data WarehouseingThe role reports to the Head of IT Applications Job Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities : - Business analysis to gather required BI system requirements- Translate business requirements into specifications that will be used to drive Data Lake/Data Warehouse/ data mart design and configuration- Use ETL tools to load data store(s)/ data warehouse(s)/ data mart(s).- Implementation of a Data Lake project (on prem & cloud)- Transition developed BI systems to the Operations & Support team- Provide support as required to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for both external and internal users- Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented for your sphere of influence- Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members- Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes- Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision- Drive and implement enterprise wide data warehouse Required Skills - Data Warehouse / Data Lake / Data Management Platform experience- Data modeling Tools - QlikView, Tableau, Power BI and other data visualization tools- Hadoop, SQL, Python and C#- Critical-thinking and problem-solving Ideal Candidate Profile : - Candidates from Insurance Industry preferred.
