Job Description

    The successful candidate will be working on strategic transformation projects and will have understanding of all phases of project life cycle, performing the role of business analyst-cum-project manager across the securities business E2E stack - will be required to partner closely with technology, operations and finance partners to progress the requirements through the agile lifecycle. Also support implementation and migration planning with data analysis. It provides an opportunity to work in large scale transformation programs with an exposure to multiple products and business lines. Department DescriptionThe strategic program management function is focused on large scale change initiatives to address industry, client and business requirements globally as they impact the Markets, Securities Services and Treasury Services businesses. The group provides a unique mix of project skills and product experience that are not tied to a specific business enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to the way we manage and execute change.Role DescriptionThe successful candidate will be working on strategic transformation projects and will have understanding of all phases of project life cycle, performing the role of business analyst-cum-project manager across the securities business E2E stack - will be required to partner closely with technology, operations and finance partners to progress the requirements through the agile lifecycle. It provides an opportunity to work in large scale transformation programs with an exposure to multiple products and business lines.Key roles and responsibilities
    • Partnering with line subject matter experts to determine detailed business requirements and conduct gap analysis vs existing platform
    • Supporting the sign off and adoption of those requirements within an agile development framework
    • Data and process analysis and mapping to identify improvement opportunities and proposed solutions both strategic and tactical
    • Definition of test cases and scenarios as well as supporting test execution
    • Running project meetings and ensure risks and issues are effectively escalated and monitored: Creation of status reports, to assist in communicating updates to management, is also required.
    • Demonstrate a strong Control and Risk awareness to identify, escalate, control and mitigate
    • Process Reengineering - Definition of future state business process to ensure consistency and gain maximum benefit from technology deliveries.
    • Perform data-driven business analysis for increasing STP, eliminating fails/exceptions and enhancing controls for the securities operations business (across trade life cycle)
    • Communicate clearly, effectively on both technical and business level.
    Skills & Qualifications
    • Bachelor degree (technology) with overall 6+ years of project management & business analysis experience.
    • Experience of Fixed Income products and processes a plus
    • Leverage subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business / stake holders and Technology.
    • Strong attention to detail and must be able to demonstrate outstanding delivery track record.
    • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
    • Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills
    • Effective change management skills. Ability to support & adapt within a changing environment. in matrix and multi-year type project structures where strong influencing skills are required
    • Proven ability to drive decisions and execute outcome
    • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directives.
