Job DescriptionOur NSW/CS&C/GSID/Platform Delivery Unit Services (Nokia Software/Core Services & Care Network/Global SI Delivery/Platform Delivery Unit - Americas) organization has an opportunity for an experienced Domain Technical Manager (DTM). As DTM, you shall be engaged in Cloudband, Cloud Platforms and NFV (vIMS, vPPC, vEPC, ) delivery projects, spanning the NOKIA Cloud portfolio as well 3th party Cloud infrastructures.As DTM, you coordinate and manage the implementation of all the technical aspects of our Cloud/NFV/SDN customer delivery projects, in terms of feature content, delivery date and quality of the technical solution, from offer preparation through project realization activities and customer acceptance. In this context, you plan, organize and steer the customer delivery project activities within the scope of NFV/SDN Infrastructure and MANO components, and potentially vNFs and other vApps. These activities cover project scope and requirements definition, elaboration and execution of the solution validation strategy (both NOKIA and customer lab environments), solution integration, installation and commissioning in customer environments, customer acceptance.Within the project scope, you identify and monitor technical risks in providing alternate solutions tomitigate the risks. You monitor solution Quality of Service and stability, ensuring that all Key Performance Indicators are within contract definition. You coordinate answers to unresolved technical issues and setup technical support processes.You operate within the framework of the Nokia Sell/Execute Process/AIM (Advanced Integration Methods) methodology.In your role as DTM, you are accountable for delivering the NFVI/SDN/MANO part, and potentially the vNF/vApp parts of the customer project, in terms of quality, schedule and content.You will closely collaborate with customer delivery project stakeholders such as NOKIA product BU s, other Nokia Delivery Units, 3 rd party suppliers, local delivery teams and customer technical interfaces. You are the customer s prime interface for all the technical aspects of the solution, and you manage the day to day relationship with the customer. Therefore, some travel to local customer sites is required. As DTM, you act as sign-off authority of project management deliverables , Job Responsibilities & Competencies Within the project s Cloud/NFV/SDN and potentially vApp s scope:- You define the global technical part of the Project Management Plan,- You define an end-to-end integration strategy & coordinates involvement of integration teams.- You validate and approve the global technical part of the Project Management Plan.- You are accountable for delivering the customer project, in terms of quality, schedule and content in line with the Project Management Plan.- You identify deliverables under your responsibility. You plan & execute these deliverables taking care of cost & milestones- You are the prime interface with customer CTO for all technical concerns.- You understand the customers strategy and manage his technical expectations- You oversee identifying risks for both customer and Nokia. You propose & implement risk mitigation.- You oversee building the technical staff of the project- You manage allocation of resources to ensure project deliverables.- You review project financials for impact on schedule, variation and change control. Maintaining the SVM of the project is key- You identify cost improvements throughout the execution of the project- You define the general plan with GPM, taking care of First Off applications and Product Roadmap- You define the KPIs with the customer. You define the strategy of follow up with the Project team. You follow up KPIs of the operators network in order to ensure the optimized usage of the deployed solution- You are responsible to propose GPM a migration strategy & plan of executionKey differentiators and additional information:- You work in a highly challenging and ever technology changing environment- You get involved in a great variety of technologies- You combine multiple roles/execute different type of activities- You experience directly the customer facing and appreciation- You deal with different internal and external stakeholders and partners- You participate in different type of projects Qualifications - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science / Electronics /Telecommunication / Electrical engineering /related engineering field- At least 10 years experience in IT/Telecommunications- Additional certifications, such as PMP certification, are a plus- Experience in NFV, SDN and Cloud concepts linked with virtualization practical experience is needed- Experience in Cloud Management Systems, Virtual Infrastructure Management systems and Cloud Infrastructure Management Systems is required- Knowledge on NOKIA s CBIS, CBAM, CBND, Nuage, is a plus- You are personally committed to quality- You love working in a customer facing environment- You operate autonomously and are result driven- You take ownership and accountability- You are flexible in taking up different roles and tackling multiple technologies- You have strong negotiation and communication skills- You can show technical and organizational leadershipImagine creating technology that has the potential to change the world.
