Job Description

Hello ,Greetings !!We have a vacant position of Dy manager HR With Leading Heavy Engineering Industry for Chennai Location.Job Title : Dy Manager HRIndustry : Heavy EngineeringLocation : ChennaiRoles & Responsibility :

  1. i) Rewards & Benefits
  • Able to provide Compensation &Benefits thought leadership but not be afraid to also roll up sleeves to support operational work to design compensation and benefits plans/programs, manage projects in India, ensure plans and programs are legally compliant, market competitive and cost effective.
  • Design and management of all benefits programs and management of relationship with vendors
  • Partner closely with HR and business for the implementation of compensation and benefits plans, programs, and projects.
  • General terms and conditions of employment, base pay, fixed allowances, paid time off, health and welfare benefits, insurance, retirement/capital accumulation plans, mandatory benefits and recognition.
  • Management of year end activities including annual bonus calculations, salary planning, incentive/bonus plan rollout, and pre -calibration
  • Conduct competitive market intelligence/analysis through regular benchmark survey participation
  • Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation about human rights and pay equity
  • Identify trends and implement new practices to engage and motivate employees
  • Renew our compensation plans with monetary and non-monetary benefits based on employee needs
  • Structure compensation in ways that will yield the highest value for the organization
  • Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee benefit programs
  • Track compensation and benefits benchmarking data
ii )Payroll & Compliance
  • Expertise in payroll processing in past roles
  • Exceptionalknowledge of TDS calculations & remittances.
  • Understanding of statutory compliances PF, Gratuity, ESI acts and new wage code
  • Ability to leverage expertise in time management to complete assignments independently and effectively
  • Ability to plan and deliver payroll related inputs to managementbefore the deadline
Desired Profile :
  • Exposure in Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
  • Experience in Macros
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, ability to work with extensive data in excel
  • Understanding of Compensation Structures & Policies
  • Familiar with Local Statutory requirements & Cut -Off
  • HR Analytics Certification will be an advantage
  • Languages : English , Hindi & Tamil
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a Human Resources Professional (specialist or generalist) including the following specific areas: Performance Management , Rewards, Payroll and compliance
  • Strong and demonstrated professional experience in Human Resources Management, Performance Management & Rewards.
  • Proven ability and experience leading his/her direct reports including performance supervision, development, and resource management.
  • Ability to speak with confidence and conviction, build and present a rational case to win support for ideas.
  • Ability to develop effective relationships inside and outside the organisation, promote collaboration and deal constructively with conflict and disagreement.
  • Substantial experience of resource management and project management.
  • Problem-solving skills: be well organized, and have advanced ability to plan, prioritize and deliver in a pressured work environment: ability to make things happen.
  • Graduation/M.B.A in HR / MA HRM / MSW preferable
