Job Description

Mission

  • Responsible for CFD simulation related requests in StarCCM+ for Product group teams working with GEEDS.
  • Interaction with other divisions (Requesters) worldwide to understand the functional requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal competence and acting good team player.
  • Guarantee the respect of best practice and standards, establish and capitalize new standards when applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the Fluid Dynamics simulations and optimization analysis.
  • Solving the simulation convergence issues.
  • Post processing and Results interpretation.
  • Validate mechanical design and propose solution to improve design modifications.
  • Validation of simulation results by comparing with test results.
  • Supporting methodology development and benchmarking simulation tools applications.
  • Time planning, Tracking and update the status to customer.
  • Document and share best practices.
  • Successfully handle multiple priorities.

Education/Training

  • Master s Degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering from a reputed institute or university
  • Excellent knowledge in Fluid Mechanics and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)

Professional Experience

  • Candidate must have around 2-3 years of significant professional experience in CFD analysis using CFD tool StarCCM+.
  • Good experience in meshing ( Select the type of mesh , elements, mesh quality, mesh convergence)
  • Good understanding of Turbulence models, VOF / Multiphase simulations and Transient simulation
  • Good in understanding of Automotive Systems
  • Good problem solving and communication skills
  • Good in written and Verbal communication.
