They are looking to hire a HOD Manufacturing and Equipment.DescriptionReporting into the Head of Operations you will be responsible for: - Leading the entire Solar Cell and module manufacturing process in the factory- Managing the department of engineers, managers, technicians for the manufacturing process and cultivating the best work environment for them- Implementing continuous improvement processes to ensure the best factory practices- Managing all aspects of the factory such as improving factory costs (for factory tools, spares and consumables), minimal disruption to the manufacturing process, achieving factory KPI, optimal utilization of resources in the factory, etc- Ensuring best quality practices maintained in the factory like Six Sigma, Gemba, Kaizen, etc. across all levels in the team- Managing and leading key projects like cost reduction, optimizing processes, yield improvement, process capability index, new product/process development, among others- Leading, managing and reviewing team performance and creating a growing atmosphere to nurture the team members- Training engineers, managers supervisors and operators to ensure up-to-date expertise and best performance of the team- Actively studying the market to have knowledge of the latest trends, setting direction and push the team forwardProfile :- Ideally you are an Engineer (Masters degree or honours degree is an advantage) from a reputable institute with at least 8-10 years of experience in Production or Equipment in a Manufacturing industry (4 years out of total should be as a Production or Equipment Manager). Experience in Solar or Semiconductor industry is an advantage.- You have solid knowledge of tools and methodologies like SPC (Statistic Process control) FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis), DOE (Design Of Experiments), RCA (Root Cause Analysis), TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and Industry 4.0.
