Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesJob descriptionLooking for Young/energetic, enthusiastic Cook for the Directors Residence of Dr. Agarwals Group of Eye Hospital.Job Title: Indian CookExperience: 1- 3 YearsSalary: 20,000 - 30,000

  • Able to organize the assigned work area and efficiently put away orders.
  • Preparing meal ingredients, which includes seasoning of different meats as well as washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits.
  • Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
  • Preparing basic salads and sauces as directed by the Executive Chef.
  • Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
  • Have general knowledge of cooking temperatures, making soups & sauces, preparing entrees, vegetable preparation and a la carte cooking.
  • Taking inventory of home supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
  • Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that work stations are properly sanitized.
  • Plating and presenting meal items as per the Executive Chef instructions.
