*DBS has embarked on Digital transformation journey with the objective to become a truly digital bank. The program focuses on maximizing value by building new applications in open source technologies and/or platforming existing applications to modern tech stacks.ResponsibilitiesProvide service for full SDLC, including requirement gathering, design, coding, unit testing, system testing, documentation Development and enhancement for the reporting system with goLang Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server) DevOps using CI/CD pipeline (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA) Work with upstream and/or downstream systems support to deliver optimal and integrated solutions Provide UAT and production support to users, ensure all issues are appropriately addressed in timely mannerRequirements5-8 years of working experience in software design and development, preferably in banking environment Hands on programming experience with any of the following Python, Javascript, Unix Scripting Nodejs, Meteor Framework Sybase, Mariadb, Mongodb, Redis or any in-memory cached Message Queues (e.g. IBM MQ), Kafka Solaris, Redhat Linux or any Unix or Linux OS flavor Html, Xml, JSON, Flatbuffer Experience in SQL/PLSQL Hands on experience in CI/CD pipeline by using GIT, Jenkins, JIRA Proven track record of participating in the design and delivery of application solutions Fluency in written and spoken English; Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in an Agile environment is an added advantage; A good team player Knowledge in any of the banking areas is an added advantage Good if have work experience in developing cloud native applications on AWS, OpenShift, Dockers Good to haveExperience in BFSI with knowledge of Capital Markets Experience in large scale elastic computing on cloud platforms (AWS preferred) would be favorably considered Proficient use of source code control software (Git preferred) Proficient exposure to release automation tools (Jenkins preferred) Writing of documents that clearly explain how algorithms should be implemented, verified and validated, *DBS has embarked on Digital transformation journey with the objective to become a truly digital bank.
