Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesLead PQ activities for given projects by defining 1) Geometry & Appearance attribute of Perceived Quality 2) Set aesthetical targets for Gap, flush, Radii, and Ball Corners on complete vehicle and parts along with Dimensional engineering during DTS specification. 3) Be part of the Target setting team and highlight consequences of program decisions 4) Perform perceived quality attribute reviews on Mahindra and competitor product benchmarking. 5) Set Vehicle level PQ target with a defined rationale behind it. 6) Conduct Virtual and physical vehicle assessments during development phases 7) Report status of PQ attribute to line and project management ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner 8) Provide technical input to design and engineering in the development of robust solutions that deliver attribute requirements 9) Assess PQ attributes at Supplier locations for off process and off tool results.General Competencies1) Work on competency building and standard-setting. 2) Support development of PQ processes & procedures ensuring 3) Research and understand cultural differences in Perceived Quality and differing market expectations 4) Collaborate with Suppliers to create and approve individual Part Quality Standards ahead of the final part release 5) Assist production approval of parts both dimensionally and cosmetically during early build phases (Matching Builds / Appearance Approvals etc)Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job1) Experience in automotive exterior, interior trim engineering. 2) Experience utilizing GD&T in an engineering environment. 3) Good at CATIA and visualization software (VRED).General Requirements1) Expert at using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). 2) Strong communication and presentation skills. Good general IT skills and prepared to learn and advocate new tools and methods. 3) Good facilitator, problem-solver also able to police systems and encourage compliance.
