Loads and Control (LaC), as part of Product Solutions & Integration, is responsible for designing and optimizing the product for load and control strategy together with cross product design work. The department consists of highly skilled, international, well skilled engineers who are taking accountability for all aspects of the LaC solution delivered to the Products which are placed across 3 design locations: Portugal, Denmark and India. As a part of Vestas Power Solutions, Loads & Controls - Value engineering is responsible for assessing the loads and power performance of Turbine at various stages in the product life cycle.Responsibilities

  • Understanding the LaC Business needs and translate them to software requirements
  • Develop, maintain, & provide high quality software/Tools solutions for LaC
  • Contribute and develop software development, review and testing process
Qualifications
  • Masters / Bachelors in any engineering specialization
  • 6 - 13 years of experience in developing engineering / computational tools / software & scripts
  • Experience in implementing engineering software development projects
  • Understanding the business needs from the users till development, testing & delivering solution
Competencies
  • Experience in Object oriented programming, data structures, parallel computing, GUI development
  • Expertise in programming experience in C# & understanding in database management
  • RPA certification will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge on cloud computing, Data analysis, Machine learning/AI will be advantage
  • Exp rience /exposure to agile / scrum methodologies / SAfe
  • Have a good balance between operational and strategic elements
  • You have effective communication skills and are fluent in English (speaking and writing)
