  • End-to-end ownership of all the Big Data technology related Applications and platform within the CPBB - Foundation Programmes domain as Tech support Manager and as SRE Lead
  • Should ensure that changes are managed in a cohesive way to minimize the number and impact of any related incidents upon service/Business by balancing both agility and stability
  • Troubleshoot and restore normal service operation as soon as possible and to minimize the adverse effect of disruption on normal business operations.
  • Conduct Blameless post-mortem to prevent Incidents from happening, and to minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented
  • Ensure that the capacity of IT services and the IT infrastructure can deliver the agreed service level targets in a cost effective and timely manner
  • Build / enhance observability and monitoring of the system at all levels Business, application, Infra, Platform and performance
  • Drive and deliver various engineering activities SIPs, Cost save measures, Operational efficiency, Toil Automations and L3 Bug fixes
  • Responsible and accountable for complying to Bank standards and compliances in all areas Operations, Security, Audit, etc.
  • Train the team and groom the next level of leads
  • Strong stakeholder management skills ability to handle escalations, queries, issues Raised by Business, ability to conduct SRE review calls with Business stakeholders, ability to participate in the RCA calls with other Tech teams and vendor teams.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • The candidate must be an engineering leader, who can inspire and groom the team with leading by example attitude.
  • Should possess strong trouble shooting skills to identify issues, root causes, and fix them
  • Must have agile mind set with Dev-Ops and SRE experience to meet the Business and management expectations in agile fashion.
  • Should possess minimum of 15+ year of experience experiment, having at least 5 years experience in Tech Support or SRE organisations.
  • Profound working knowledge on Big data technologies such as Hadoop, HIVE, HBASE, KAFKA, SPARK,
  • Strong hands on any Programming language along with Bash Scripting(or) or Python scripting
  • Profound knowledge on DevOps CI-CE tools such as Jenkins, Rundeck, Kubernetes, Github, Terraform, Ansible etc.
  • Cloud knowledge will be an added advantage
