Job Description

We apply our expertise in technology, innovation, and our business to support Pfizer in this mission.The Digital Finance organization creates, configures, and runs digital products, platforms, and solutions that support Pfizers core finance business functions such as Financial Consolidations, Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Treasury, Tax, Compliance, Internal, and External Reporting.This Manager role is a hands-on technical BI Developer role responsible for supporting current financial reporting data visualization leveraging transformations in both on-premises and AWS cloud platforms and delivering proof of concepts, small development projects and/or maintenance projects.Pfizer seeks a candidate that understands budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes and their application to solving business problems. The candidate is highly self-motivated, eager to explore new technologies, and is effective when working in a team environment. A strong aptitude towards self-development and growth is highly desired.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the technical solutioning to build new use cases
  • Create integrations with enterprise portals, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by the business users, alerts via email, mobiles based on predefined events
  • Build integrated solutions on a consistent foundation and manage interdependencies with other Digital solutions to create a world-class end-user experience
  • Design and implement data models to support large scale business intelligence reporting, including the creation of attributes, facts, and metrics
  • Oversee and develop documentation for the new solutions and technologies to be compliant
  • Support and execute project deployment activities
  • Manage the transition of all new applications into the support model
  • Support operating procedures and work instructions as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar field
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience working in development and/or support teams
  • 2 years of experience in BI tool as a Developer
    • Proficiency in the understanding of MicroStrategy, PowerBI or any other BI tool
    • Proficiency in developing, deploying, and debugging BI applications
    • Strong development experience
    • Knowledge on performance tuning, subscription, and caching techniques
  • Experience with database technologies (Oracle, Postgres, MySQL)
  • Exposure to AWS cloud platform (S3, EC2, Aurora, Glue, etc.)
  • Exposure to Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, jQuery
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Pharmaceutical life science domain experience
  • Exposure to Finance reporting applications
  • Project Management expertise in managing multiple projects
  • Familiar with SDLC/Agile methodologies
  • Exposure to DevOps processes
  • MicroStrategy Developer/Architect Certification
