Job DescriptionGlobal & Indigenous Procurement. Define Procurement Strategies based on Business Requirements. Sourcing & Costing by Co - ordination with CFT (Cross Functional Teams) like BDM , Engineering , Production &Planning Departments. Understand Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) , verifying and Issuing of purchase orders and follow ups. Identifying and developing dedicated Suppliers as well as alternate suppliers for cost benefits , better lead time , quality & commercial terms benefits.Forecast to suppliers for the Long Lead Time (LLT) Parts and Identifying Obsolete Parts & take initiatives for equivalent alternates.Get Purchase Price Variance (PPV) approval through the proper process. Review and resolve suppliers invoice holds if anyCoordinating Shortage report based on the Demand / Delivery.Ensuring MRP as per the timelines. Follow up with suppliers for shortages , Pull - in & expeditesCancellation of deliveries in case of downturn in demand.Vendor Management (Machining Supplier selection and allocation , standardization , negotiation and contracting , Supplier Performance ratings and corrective actions)Active participation to get the AS9100 certification and keeping the standards & records to maintain the certificationsRegular Participation with Marketing , Quality , Storage , Documentation , Production & testing Debug meetings.Preparing Shortage report based on the Demand / Delivery , Days of Supply , Potential Excess , Potential Obsolete Materials , High Stocks , RTV , MRBMeeting with Planning / PM to get an update on expedites , Push outs & cancellation requirements.Exposure to difference manufacturing process is a must.Exposure to Finishing process like (Aluminium anodizing , hard anodizing , chromation , power coating etc.)Should handle a team of 4 - 5 purchase engineers in sourcing and deliveryElectronics Design and Manufacturing,
