Job Description

Mandatory Skills - Domain Requisites

• Overall 8-10 years of working experience out of which at least 5-6 years into Public Bus Transportation Domain
• Ability to run and execute requirements workshops with various stakeholders to understand the AS-IS and TO-BE processes and creating business blueprinting documents
• Extensive working experience in creating business and functional requirements specifications documents by capturing business requirements from multiple stakeholders
• Should be able to transform the business and functional requirements into possible solution feature list and wireframes
• Should be able to design the product backlogs/ detailed feature list and should be able to prioritize the feature list as per the project and customer needs
• Should be able to identify and clearly mention the acceptance criteria s corresponding to each requirement set and should be able to communicate and convince the same to the customer
• Should be able to design various UML diagrams (Use Case, activity, sequence diagram etc.) and use them in various business documents (BRD, SRD, SDD etc.)
• Should have the ability to detail out each of the use cases in the form of user stories
• Should be able to get sign-off from various stakeholders by planning and executing various playback and feedback sessions
• Should be able to work closely with development / Product teams to help them understand the requirements for development /configurations
• Should be able to perform and support Functional Testing, System Testing and Integration Testing with the Quality Analysts
• Should have worked in ITS applications such Automated Fare Collection Systems, Automated Vehicle Location tracking system, Depot Management System, Vehicle Planning & Scheduling Systems, Incident Management Systems, Parking Management System Business Intelligence & Reporting, GIS Applications
• Should have extensive working knowledge of managing smart transportation operations for electric buses.
  • Should have working knowledge of how the schedules of electric buses are created keeping in mind their charging capacity, distance travelled, charging point location etc.
  • Should have working knowledge of what kind of separate maintenance and repair works activities are done additionally for electric buses.
• Should have extensive working knowledge of managing smart transportation operations for public/ private events related bus services (charter bus services).
  • Should have designed solution where the vehicle demand can be identified based on the passenger demand and accordingly other transportation services are managed
• Extensive Domain/Functional experience of working on vehicle health tracking systems and OBD (On Board Diagnostic) solutions. The candidate should have
  • Complete understanding of CANBUS Standards, Capturing of CANBUS information and processing of CANBUS information.
  • Should have understanding of business and functional use case scenarios where vehicle parameters captured using CANBUS could be used to tracking fuel consumption, improve fleet performance, reduce down-times and perform preventive maintenance
  • Should be familiar with CANBUS and Vehicle / Vehicle health diagnostic codes which are used to monitor health of vehicles
  • Extensive experience of working on different types of OBD devices and Telematics devices (analog, digital and ECU)
  • Should have understanding of transfer mechanism of CANBUS parameters captured in Bus to Third Party Backend systems via 4G/5G/GPRS/ Wi-Fi
  • Ability to design solution and detail out various KPI reports which helps customers to identify the current health of vehicle
  • Designed solutions that raises alerts and notifications in case configured vehicle health parameter values is reached/ breached.
  • Understanding of key KPIs and metrics of bus operations and ability to create these KPIs and Metrics in BI Dashboards
• Should have knowledge and working experience of IoT platforms and Cloud (Azure)
• Hands on Domain/Functional Experience of working on Maintenance Management
• Should have worked in developing mobile apps for various users such as passenger (journey planning), driver app, bus operators, maintenance department apps etc.
• Should have worked in developing web portals in Public/Bus Transportation projects which would be used by various users such as commuters, bus operators, depot employees
• Should have integration experience various ITS solutions along with integrating them with different ERP s (SAP preferred).
• Should have designed event based transportation solutions where buses for a specific event is allotted and their corresponding activities are monitored.

Mandatory Skills - Project/ Work Execution Requisites:

• Should take the requirement ownership of the solutions
• Proven experience of participating in Requirement elicitation & Solutions Blueprinting
• Able to manage Requirements, system implementations, upgrades and support of Transportation Applications
• Effectively manage all the stakeholders (internal and external)
• Excellent communication, analytical & problem solving skills
• Should lead large cross platform teams (including BA s, Developers, Testers and partners)
• At least 2 transportation solution projects done outside India
• Experience of working as a master SI having a complete knowledge of different project components

Desirable Skills:

• Experience of leading Agile/SCRUM/cross platform teams
• Open to travel as and when required
• Certified professional preferred
• Excellent exposure of cloud solutions
