Open Source Digital Experience Presales Consultant

Job Description

Objective of the role;We are seeking an exceptional individual to serve as a Pre-Sales Consultant in our OpenSource DX practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical and subject matter expertise in some but with proficiency in of the one leading opensource Digital experience platforms such as Drupal-Acquia or LiferayThis is a Practice leadership role but will remain, at the core, a technical expert who actively participates in the sales process. The ultimate goal of the Pre-Sales consultant is to position the correct solution based on customer requirements and win in a competitive market.Day to Day Focus;

1. Lead a team of digital presales engineers. Coordinate, motivate, resolve issues.
2. Work with sales representative to establish specific account plans and strategies aligned with the Go-To-Market
3. Analyse sales prospects, requirements and propose the best possible Solution
4. Create and deliver demonstrations, presentations, POV and map features/benefits of Wipro s offerings to prospects specific needs
5. Respond to the technical sections of RFI/RFPs
6. Provide product and solution feedback to customers sometimes on a consultative basis
7. Bring about & communicate competitive intelligence from the field
8. Exchange best practices and share knowledge within Pre-Sales Community utilizing supplied mechanisms available at Wipro
9. Keep up to date with any new Wipro solutions and relevant technical knowledge especially where we have successful case studies
10. Participate in meetings and conferences with customers and partners, sales and other necessary functions

You should be;

2. Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
3. Fluency in English. Additional language skills are nice to have
4. Previous experience with presales, consultancy, technical support in technology space
5. Technical background, IT / software focus. Tec savvy person
6. Business understanding, ability to understand customer s needs, challenges and expectations
7. Works office-based in a team. (Current Work-from-home directed by COVID measures)

Desirable Technology traitsLiferay:

1. Design and Development experience of Portal using Liferay out of box portlets, Liferay MVC Portlets, Spring MVC portlets, JSR 286 Portlet depending on the requirement.
2. Experience in Integrating Liferay with different third party applications using Web services/REST API
3. Design and development experience of Liferay themes using the UI technologies like CSS, JS, Ajax, jQuery, Bootstrap, Alloy UI.
4. Experience in integration with other systems, LDAP, SSO, Google Analytics, Solr/Elastic Search using Liferay
5. Experience in Headless Architecture Implementation
6. Experience to ensure delivery of all non-functional requirements and usability features
7. Must have strong communication and customer interfacing skills
8. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
9. Ability to architect and design efficient Liferay Migration strategies
10. Good understanding of the performance tuning of Liferay portal servers
11. Liferay Certification would be preferred.

Acquia-Drupal:

1. Develop CMS system architecture, define the system implementation approach and operational concept, ensure requirements are me
2. Ensuring that delivered solutions meet technical and functional requirements
3. Providing the expertise required to review, advise, and assist in the selection of appropriate functionalities
4. Proficiency in PHP, SQL, JQuery, CSS, and Views
5. Experienced in the optimization and fine tuning of Drupal
6. Experience with the implementation of Varnish, Solr, GeoIP, Commerce, Ubercart, and CRM integration
7. Skilled in all aspects of web development with extensive PHP, Drupal 8, 9 experience
8. Deep expertise in Drupal backend/module development, and theming/front-end development
9. Ability to architect enterprise Drupal solutions including data, display, and information architecture
