Job Description

    Skills:- 10-12 year of related experience Advanced knowledge of database technologies with expertise in Oracle technologies such as Oracle Database Enterprise Edition version 9i-18c, Recovery Manager (RMAN), Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and Fast Start Failover (FSF) Solid Linux and shell scripting experience Experience with Kafka is an added advantage Experience with Oracle GoldenGate is added advantage Strong proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Oracle database certification Telecom industry experience Working experience with PostgreSQLExperience :-Manage deployment and oversee maintenance of new databases, new schemas and new database objectsContribute to defining application database standards and creating application data modelsManage database performance in the context of applications while working closely with infrastructure and application teamsAct as a liaison among project management, technical teams and IT leadership; assure best practices are defined and followed; drive consistency across applications and projects wherever possibleAssist application developers with SQL tuningMentor developers and help resolve technical roadblocks; identify organizational/team challenges and address them with managementContribute to the evaluation, selection and implementation of new toolsDevelop tools and processes to improve productivity of project teams in the context of data
