Job Description

Applexus Leadership Development Program

This position is part of the Leadership Development Program at Applexus. The program aims to groom the selected candidate into a business leader by working on projects that have a lasting impact on our business alongside a team of supportive and inspired colleagues and leaders. In addition to product management of the flagship products, the selected individual will be working with the Executive Leadership of Applexus on key strategic initiatives.

Qualification

  • MBA from top business school
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
  • For fresh MBA graduates, experience in a Technology related role prior to MBA (preferably in product development, or in ERP implementation) is required

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up product vision and strategy and guide the success of a product
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from planning to execution.
  • Own the creative process of generating, developing, and curating new ideas and determine which ideas should be promoted into features to push the product strategy forward.
  • Responsible for defining the requirements for each feature and the desired user experience.
  • Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and articulate the customer requirements and market requirements in to a logically sequenced and optimized product roadmap.
  • Work closely with engineering on the technical specifications and ensure that teams have all of the information they need to deliver a complete product to market.
  • Work with Product Development teams to ensure that they understand product requirements, business needs and actively participate in providing any needed guidance and clarification in a timely manner.
  • Define the release process and coordinate all of the activities required to bring the product to market. Manage dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones.
  • Analyse market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding.
  • Gather, nurture product vision and requirements by working with customers and prospects, market research and competitive analysis.
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Enable the field to best position the product, create and deliver training content for direct sales teams as well as partners and support teams.
  • Drive strategic partner decisions relevant to the product.
  • Own the PL for the product including top-line and bottomline
  • Work with Sales Team, Inside Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute strategic marketing plan, campaigns and sales.
