If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.We are currently seeking a Program Project Management Specialist to join our team in Chennai, Tamil N du (IN-TN), India (IN).PMP /PRINCE 2 /TIL Certified Advanced capability in the nine PMI PMBOK knowledge areas to the extent necessary to effectively manage or support projects. Demonstrates advanced proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company s project management information system (PMIS). Advanced ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans. Advanced ability to ensure that effective project controls are in place to monitor project or program performance. Advanced capability at providing effective performance reporting for the customer and Dell in order to monitor the progress of the project. Advanced understanding of the links and dependencies between the projects and other in-flight projects and/or business initiatives. 10 years experience in project management during which a structured approach (methodology) was applied to project planning, estimating, monitoring and reporting through the full project lifecycle, from initiation through closure. Management of multiple technology projects simultaneously with a proven track record of delivery and implementing change 12 - 20 years of overall experience in IT services - infrastructure / data center strongly preferred 1-2 years Program Management experience desired, but not required Experience in managing large globally distributed project teams who are not reporting directly and are associated with the PM for the purpose of the project only. Experience with enterprise program and project management tools preferred. Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management. Proven project financial and risk management experience Understanding of Application development beneficial, but not essential Experience working remotely or for a remote manager Experience working in a medium to large-scale corporation Experience in Financial Services industry preferred. Key Responsibilities: Execute and deliver infrastructure projects and programs in a matrix environment Define project or program schedules and plans and socialize with project stakeholders Juggle and prioritize multiple deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously Maintain and track project financials against budget, and coordinate funding approval Lead project meetings via agendas, publish meeting notes and track action items Manage Stakeholder communications including status reporting Proactive risk mitigation, scope and change management Provide work effort estimates Issue management and escalation Team building BTech, MCA I PMP /PRINCE 2 /TIL Certified Advanced capability in the nine initiatives.
