Job Description

    • Manage the full cycle of the sales process from prospecting to closure.
    • Work with the senior management to decide on sales targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
    • Achieve agreed sales targets.
    • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
    • Prepare and deliver product demos both in person and virtually.
    • Work with the internal team to address specific customer questions, requests or suggestions.
    • Focus on pitching the benefits and value provided by the products as opposed to features.
    • Provide technical context where required as part of sales pitches and presentations.
    • Negotiate commercials and close deals.
    • Suggest new product concepts, enhancements and potential new partnerships.
    • Maintain warm professional relationships with the customers post their on-boarding, helping them with any needs or support.
    • Identify up-selling and cross-selling opportunities with existing customers.
    • Maintain an updated sales pipeline of prospects with detailed statuses, qualified in terms of needs and budgets.
    • Provide detailed weekly status reports on sales with key metrics. Attend regular sales review calls with the management.
    • Assist in developing the Go to Market strategy, setting up product positioning, pricing, target customers and channels.
    • Represent the company in trade shows and industry events.
    • Travel to customer locations where needed.
    • Conduct market research on the air freight software market to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
    • Gather in-depth knowledge of the air freight industry, operational processes and technological trends.
    Requirements:
    • 5+ years of experience in software sales in the logistics industry with a focus on freight forwarding.
    • Vast and well maintained relationships and contacts within the freight forwarding industry.
    • Excellent knowledge of freight processes, market and technology trends.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
    • Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
