Job Description

Job Summary:-The Security Specialist ensures the implementation of security processes and procedures at UPS facilities. He/She addresses dishonesty, physical security, and employee security issues; this may include assisting in investigations. This position monitors claim and damage information to identify trends and respond appropriately.Job Duties:-

  • PLACI (Package Level Advance cargo Information) EU/US Regulatory program Follow up on these requests both from DXB and DEL.
  • Validation of all security self audits conducted along with the District security manager.
  • SOP/MOP formulations on District security programs ( Apple, Seagate, DELL Etc)
  • Request Follow up Security related Coordination with other District security counterparts and corporate on package investigation escalations.
  • Security Data analysis and MIS reporting, Dashboard to country managers,
  • Security functional cost analysis and tracking cost saving initiatives.
  • Incidents CAP closure follow-up and monitor effectiveness.
  • Coordinate to plan and complete the security work plan and collating data for District.
  • Follow up on security related trainings.
  • Follow up on self-assessment audits, review, cap closure monitoring.
  • Retesting the CAP by re-auditing the failed questions in the audit.
  • Co-ordinate with cross functions to prepare IRT tree periodically
  • Support security partners to complete security projects
  • Support Manager for BCM and conduct IRT
  • Prepare new security hire orientation training matrix as per current trend, coordinate and complete.
  • STG Security Technology Group activities for the district ( CCTV, Access Controls, RFA etc)
