Job Description

One of the three international operations centres, BNP Paribas Global Securities Operations (GSO) provides services to global clients in the Asian region and some follow-the-sun activities for European clients. Wholly owned by BNP Paribas Securities Services, the GSO centre offers a wide range of services which include custody operations, fund accounting, middle-office operations, static data management, clearing and settlement operations and other transversal services.Job summaryRoles & ResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities

  • The key function of the Validator is to validate transaction on a daily basis with high levels of accuracy
  • Should ensure all queries are answered within agreeable time frame during BAU
  • Should monitor DMS, Bird, Tradeflow applications to ensure all instructions received are acted on a timely manner
  • Should monitor and manage the workflow in various applications such as Pblink, Corporate Online, Plasma, Hiport etc. to ensure the cutoff s are met
  • Updation of KPI database on a daily basis
  • Should perform a four eye control for Reconciliation breaks
  • Ensure checklist, EOD / BOD activities are prepared by the team and signed off
  • Completing the Instruction checklist to ensure all the task are effectively performed
  • Prioritization of various instructions received inorder to meet the cutoff
Knowledge and skills required
  • Thorough understanding of all Capital market, Financial Instruments, Investment baking processes and above average accounting skills
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail orientation, service commitment, solid organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong MS Excel skills required.
Job requirements
  • Graduates / Post Graduates (B.Com/MBA Finance preferred)
  • Candidates should be willing and flexible to work in any shifts
  • Work experience: 3 to 5 Years
