  • Ability to prepare the structural design basis
  • Static structural analysis, steel basic detailing, Calculation Reports, Structural design of members and joints; design of connections, pad eyes, trunnions, sea fasteners, grillage and barge strengthening etc.
  • Knowledge of both SACS and SESAM and ability to analyse the results
  • Knowledge of in place, load out, sea transportation analyses.
  • Offshore lift of jacket and topsides, modules.
  • Basic Knowledge of Pile soil interaction, pile makeup and drivability, pile sequencing, shallow foundation designs, on bottom studies, pile lift and upending analysis, selection of hammers.
  • Liaision with the certification authority to get the approval on the design basis and the analysis.
