• Providing Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the TechOps/Production Support team.
• Providing functional, technical or process leadership to the middleware and infrastructure Support teams, including architecture, design, development, and delivery of environments/infrastructure using industry-standard processes, tools & technologies.
• Leading a team to provide 24 x 7 support and respond to issues with urgency, these duties include the opening of an investigation and outage bridges, troubleshooting, management of traffic across multiple applications and locations, managing daily checkpoint calls, and tracking of open items on a daily basis for the supported applications.
• Working closely with our Architects, Engineers, Operations, Product Managers and other clients and partners of the DevOps team to meet the needs of the organization to stay competitive - from the infrastructure up to the highest level of applications availability and scalability at optimum performance level.
• Pro-actively analyzing current processes and practices and suggesting/ driving improvements.
• Analyzing competitive products and technologies and making appropriate suggestions (may use demos, POCs) to influence product/technology direction.
• Designing, building, improving, and supporting a EKS/Kubernetes-based data processing architecture that can run on premise and in an AWS/K8s/EKS environment
• Building and configuring cloud-based infrastructure, networking policies, LBs and clusters.
• Supporting middleware distributed environments in standalone and highly available configuration including WebSphere Application Server, Oracle WebLogic, RedHat JBoss, & Apache Tomcat.
• Patching the middleware products for security vulnerabilities and upgrading the EOL products.
• Monitoring and auditing virtual/hardware resources, security, operating system, service logs, and metrics for performance issues using centralized tools.

What we re looking for.Youll need to have:

• Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Four or more years of experience in Production Support/Operations support with strong experience in middleware and spring boot applications.
• Experience in deploying and configuring ForgeRock AccessManager/OpenIG.
• Experience in building and maintaining multiple environments hosted on EKS/K8s/Cloud.
• Experience performing Elastic search diagnostics and performance tuning.
• Experience with establishing logging best practices.
• Experience with Solaris, Linux(RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) in bare metal and cloud based infrastructure (AWS/K8s/EKS).
• Experience with CICD, DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Artifactory, Gitlab etc.
• Experience working with webserver technologies like Apache, Oracle Iplanet, IBM HttpServer; Application Server expertise like Websphere, WebLogic and Tomcat along with experiencein shell scripting.
• Experience in Application Monitoring and Logging tools like Wily, Splunk, New Relic, Kibana or Grafana
• Experience in MQ technologies (ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
• Experience in AWS cloud (EC2, ELB, Auto Scaling, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.)
• Experience in python or shell scripting to automate repeated tasks.
• Experience in networking concepts like Subnets, routing, DNS, VPN experience in troubleshooting issues and quickly resolve them in an efficient manner that minimizes downtime.
• Experience building high-performance infrastructures that are scalable and resilient.

Even better if you have:

• A degree.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Six or more years of experience in Production Support/Operations support with strong experience in middleware and spring boot applications.
• AWS/K8s/DevOps/SRE/ForgeRock Certifications.
• Experience with implementation of Docker, Kubernetes & EKS frameworks.
