These products are built on the Zero Trust core infrastructure owned and developed by our team. Our Zero Trust platform enables our customers to have a world-class experience in performance, reliability and security.Partner with the bestIn this role you will lead teams of software engineers tasked with developing the systems that are core to our data path. These teams are responsible for designing and building our next generation systems to scale for the future and meet evolving business needs. You will lead these teams through all phases of development.As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Leading a team of talented software engineers and leads; empowering their growth and development
• Aligning with product management and other stakeholders on requirements and roadmaps
• Working across engineering teams to coordinate deliverables and build release schedules
• Communicating effectively through clear written and verbal communications and engaged listening
• Promoting innovation and research and help impact and shape the future of our Zero Trust offering
Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
• Have 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
• Be excited about new technologies and solving complex problems
• Have experience managing a team of software engineers developing networking software in languages such as C/C++, Python and Go
• Understand internet technologies and fundamental protocols such as HTTP/S, TCP/IP, and DNS
• Have experience building highly distributed, real-time systems.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across different teams
