About the positionThe Senior Associate will be part of the GDC Technology Solutions (GTS) team, working in a Techno-functional role in the Audit Data & Analytics domain that requires developing expertise in KPMG proprietary D&A (Data and analytics)) tools and audit methodology. He/she will be a part of the team responsible for processing large datasets extracted from client ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics or others) to provide data insights to Audit teams and be involved in developing solutions using a variety of tools & technologiesBroadly, the key responsibilities are:

• Audit D&A Solution Delivery Be a part of the team that is responsible for Designing, Developing, Executing and Innovating new Audit D&A solutions ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
• Content & Industry Focus Build strong domain expertise (Accounting & Auditing) and Industry knowledge to enable effective collaboration with different engagement teams and produce quality deliverables

Roles and responsibilitiesThe Senior Associate will be predominantly responsible for:

• Design and Development of Databases, SSIS packages and SSAS based OLAP cubes, and enhancement of the existing solutions
• Assist Audit engagement teams to coordinate data extraction process with client s IT teams and discuss the results with the KPMG engagement teams
• Process large data extracts from client ERP SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics or others) systems into the KPMG proprietary tool and understand the data from functional and technical perspectives to resolve issues that arise while processing the engagements
• Maintaining the project status in a timely manner
• Prepare the documents supporting the project in a detailed way with utmost attention to details
• Develop understanding of business processes, such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, General Ledger and Sub-ledger accounting
• Work on developing proof of concepts on various use-cases
• Open to learn different tools and technologies related to KPMG Audit Data & Analytics
• Ability to handle stakeholder relationships across member firms

Technical Skill

• 4-6 years of experience after the qualification
• Strong experience working with SQL Server Management Studio, writing SQL queries and development/debugging of stored procedures
• Proficient in Database architecture and RDBMS
• Proficient in performance tuning of complex stored procedure
• Proven technical expertise in development of SSIS packages and exposure to SSAS OLAP cubes
• Experience working on data warehousing projects
