    Senior Principal Marketing Manager, Customer GrowthPosting Location : Location US-RemotePosting date 18 hours ago(8/11/2022 3:54 AM)Job ID 92153 Workday ID R-019361 About the job The Red Hat Cross and Up-sell team is looking for a strategic and innovative Senior Principal Marketing Manager of Customer Growth to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing strategies and best practices to enable regional marketers to deliver cross-sell and up-sell marketing programs. You will deliver content and experiences that align with marketing plans, expand reach within the account, and, ultimately, grow demand for customer expansion.As a Senior Principal Marketing Manager of Customer Growth, you will manage cross-sell and up-sell programs geared to build brand awareness and educate our customers on additional Red Hat s offerings and solutions. Youll work closely with the broader cross-functional marketing teams and business groups to create, coordinate, and deliver campaigns focused on expanding the lifetime value of our customers. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business. What you will do
    • Develop and deliver our customer growth strategy to achieve desired pipeline targets across our commercial and enterprise business segments globally
    • Optimize the customer funnel with planned campaigns to grow awareness, consideration, evaluation, and revenue
    • Be responsible for marketing tactics that may include email communication, platform ads, in-person and virtual events, paid media placements, and more
    • Partner with Digital Marketing team to ensure that customer campaigns are launched on time and optimized to motivate maximum return on investment (ROI) for the business
    • Partner with Global Demand Generation and Sales Operations teams to operationalize how customer interest is tracked, followed up on, and reported to ensure accountability, funnel velocity, and positive customer experience
    • Use account-based marketing best practices for prioritizing campaigns and when to pivot accounts onto new lists and testing advanced segmentation by persona
    • Identify opportunities for Sales and Customer Success to accelerate open opportunities throughout the funnel and create programs to address any gaps within performance
    • Conduct analysis and segmentation exercises to prioritize roll out of various customer marketing activities
    • Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs on an ongoing basis, facilitating reporting of marketing and sales key performance indicators (KPIs); report back to the business on required changes
    What you will bring
    • 5+ years of experience working in a similar customer facing or segment marketing capacity
    • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Eloqua, Salesforce.com (SFDC), Tableau, Qlik Sense, or similar systems and tools; business intelligence
    • 2+ years of experience with budget and procurement management systems like Allocadia and Oracle
    • 5+ years of digital campaign planning, realization, and evaluation experience
    • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
    • Experience building and carrying out customer expansion demand generation marketing programs
    • Passionate about problem solving, relationship building, and creating effective partnerships
    • Exceptional time and project management skills
    • Ability to iterate and readily adapt to change and keep others on track
    • Results oriented with a proven record of flawless delivery and attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Clear understanding of cloud and emerging technologies with the capability to initiate technical conversations with cross-portfolio product marketing teams
    • Goal-oriented, collaborative, customer-focused, detailed, persistent, and resourceful; active listener with solid persuasion skills
    • Program management planning and organization skills; ability to take initiative and deliver projects without direct supervision
    • Solid writing and presentation skills to translate detailed technical content into impactful go-to-market materials
    • Ability to react to change appropriately
    • Experience with personalization strategy; ability to define strategies based on customer business objectives
    • Understanding of digital segmentation strategy and its application
    • Experience developing and tracking personalization campaigns
