Job Description

The Equiniti Group is looking for a Senior Wintel Admin (SFTP) to help us deploy and manage our Secure File Transfer & Global Infrastructure of Windows Environment hosted in Multiple data centre and cloud. We are searching for a passionate engineer to join our team to help us evaluate, implement, deploy and support technologies that enable our users to collaborate with UK & US Customers. The motivated candidate should have a firm understanding of IT System Infrastructure with a base understanding of Windows servers, Fileservers, ADFS, Security fundamentals, network devices such as load balancers and Firewalls. Additionally, he/she should have a working knowledge of MoveIT SFTP solutions or other similar SFTP solutions. Engineers typically work under the guidance of Shift lead engineers and managers responsible for a given area.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesSuccessful candidate would be responsible for the following duties

  • Troubleshoot Microsoft Server Operating Systems Windows 2008 R2, 2012 and 2016, 2019 Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, ADFS, Hyper-V, SCVMM, VMWare, SytemCentre End Point Protection, Windows Clustering.
  • Experience in PowerShell or terraform scripts.
  • Experience in Managing PKI infrastructure.
  • Experience in managing Linux servers .
  • Azure System Administration will be added advantage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills: Able to solve authentication issues, troubleshoot connectivity issues with servers and certificates and support network team in solving complex issues
  • Experience with integrating applications and providing support related to infrastructure.
  • Enhance and improve existing infrastructure through automation and reporting.
  • Take handoff of problems from SME leads and work them independently to root cause.
  • Knowledge on O365, MS Intune, MS teams.
  • Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for Infrastructure issues.
  • Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
  • Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation.
