  • Working with Mainframe and multiple Open Source Tools.
  • Working with development teams/ SMEs to architect/ design/ develop tools that support QA automation with db2/batch processing knowledge
  • Working on defect tracking tool like Jiraand SQL developer for the purpose of Testing Database related checks.
  • Reviewing the architecture of the existing tools if needed and make them more efficient.
  • Managing stakeholders, developing detailed documentation, and managing complex automation systems issues when necessary.
  • Partnering with tools/ automation engineers and managers to provide guidance and support from backend system perspective.
What we re looking for.Youll need you have:
  • Bachlers degree or four or more years of work experience
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of experience in mainframe in many of these, non-x86 legacy systems and with technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS, Assembler, PL/I, Java, Rexx, flat/sequential files, GDGs, and VSAM.
  • Good understanding of new-age mainframe languages & tools.
  • Knowledge on any Mainframe SDLC & Mainframe SCM tools (Endevor / Changeman).
  • Experience with Application Integrations for File transfer/queue sharing e.g. MQ
  • Experience with tools such as Eclipse, JPA, Hibernate, Maven, Rational Rose.
Even better if you have:
  • Telecom Domain experience
  • Good to have experience in Databases like Oracle 10g, DB2, My SQL.
