Job Description

Intelligent Automation Associate DirectorJob Description Intelligent Automation Associate DirectorThe Intelligent Automation Associate Director will be responsible both for implementation of automation projects and process-improvement solutions using RPA, Machine Learning, and other automation components.A broad and advanced level understanding of Infrastructure Services that includes Compute, Network, Cloud, Storage, Service Desk, and related experience is required. He / She must be able to identify gaps and recommend / implement remediation to such deficiencies and be able to communicate these changes and technologies across the business.He / She will communicate and distribute the knowledge of business benefiting technologies at all levels of the organization, further leveraging the technology investment. They cultivate a departmental culture of excellence that align with the company s aggressive goals for growth and commitment to elevating the employee and customer experience.Responsibilities

  • Be jointly responsible for the development and leadership of the Automation Delivery Team enabling a highly functional expert level team able to solve the needs of the business today and in the future generating a competitive advantage
  • Define, develop, and manage Intelligent Automation [RPA / ML] for infrastructure services and service desk line of business; ensuring we can scale the environment and manage it with minimal risk and staffing
  • Be able to manage Automation technologies including excellent knowledge of business, and best practices ensuring the company is optimized for performance and secure
  • Ensure documentation is created, maintained, and utilized across the group for the benefit of training and standard operating procedures
  • Develop and improve change control processes ensuring a consistent practice is followed and enhanced every week following our mission of continual improvement
  • Create an environment in which automation standards and practices can be developed and followed encouraging change and configuration management best practices across the team for improved team operations
  • Develop a methodology to manage incident response
  • Create a process to collect, maintain and manage network related hardware and software licenses
  • Develop KPI s and budgetary assessment of projects, personnel, performance, and resources enabling the collective to make data drive decisions for staff, technology, and adherence for the benefit of operational excellence
Stakeholder Management
  • Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across Group Operations to be well positioned to identify future opportunities for process improvement and automation solutions and to proactively identify sources of service dissatisfaction
  • Work closely with the relevant IT forums to ensure external stakeholders are aware of what s happening with our automation strategy and to ensure that we are aligned to overall group strategy
Required Qualifications:
  • 10 - 12 years relevant experience.
  • 3 - 6 years of managerial/leadership experience.
  • Provides mentoring and performance development to staff, challenging the team for creative solutions, innovative software development, cost reductions and improvements in service delivery.
  • Provides guidance and technical advice, becoming actively involved as necessary.
Industry & Technical Expertise
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure Services and Service Desk functions
  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Automox, Terraform, Chef & Jenkins
  • Proficiency with automation development (RPA Preferable) with one of the market leading platforms (e.g. Ui Path)
  • Proficiency with coding languages [Preferable Microsoft .Net / PowerShell / VB Macro]
  • High level problem-solving and communication skills
  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field (Mathematical/ Statistical)
Additional Expected Knowledge & Skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce easily understood documentation. The successful candidate must be able to explain technical detail to non-technical colleagues and to interact at senior levels within the organization.
