Job Description

  • Procurement of goods and services for the bank from various third parties
  • Working knowledge on procurement related to Facility and Infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities -
  • To achieve Strategic Cost Management (SCM) as per Banks expectations
  • To adhere to the set processes in order to ensure optimal integrity
  • New initiatives and implementation and alignment to RED
Job Duties & responsibilities -
  • Handling sourcing for Admin, facilities and services related purchases. This includes Infrastructure, office supplies, housekeeping, security
  • Responsible for sourcing involving market survey, identifying cost optimization sourcing, new Product launches, attending product seminars organized by vendors, Price and benefit bench marking
  • Coordination with the Business teams and understanding their requirements. Proactive analysis of future demand and tracking the requirements
  • Reviewing tenders and bids and prepare quotation comparison and summarization
  • Managing the meetings with various vendors and ensure the smooth co-ordination with Business teams.
  • Tracking of contract renewals and renegotiate prices and driving cost savings for the company.
  • Managing the procurement supplier relationships and maintain mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with Vendors.
  • Helping to source alternative items for buyers and customers by developing sourcing strategies.
  • Evaluation of new vendors and follow the vendor Registration/On-boarding procedure.
  • Handle and address to the delivery related escalations
  • To be well versed with procurement related applications/software operations.
  • To be familiar with the auction process.
Required Experience -
  • At least 7-10 years of industry experience
  • Relevant experience of handling supply chain management, vendor management, procurement and sourcing of non IT products.
Education / Preferred Qualifications -
  • Graduation
  • Any additional qualification will be an added advantage
