Job Description

    Job Title / Position : NC Programmer / Team lead(Catia)Department : Engineering ServicesTotal Work Experience : 8-10 YearsWork Location : CoimbatoreResponsibilities: 1) Read technical drawings and analyze given 3D solid model2) Generating optimum tool path using CATIA V5 on 3, 4 & 5-axis machines.3) Develop CNC programs to produce high-precision Aerospace components.4) Utilize Vericut to ensure that all the programs conform to all stages and finish part.5) Collaborate with CFT team to modify existing programs and methods for increased efficiency, simplifying the process, and machining complex shapes.6) Selection of the cutting tools & it is cutting parameter (cutting speed, depth of cut, etc.)7) Preparing Program Package (tool lists, setup sheets)8) Conduct prove-out processes on CNC machines9) Ability to define and troubleshoot manufacturing/machining processes.10) Ensure the commissioning of the first parts (FAI) and support production as needed.11) Analyze and optimize programs to improve machining times and reduce waste. Must Have Competencies: 1) Min 5+ years of CNC Programming using CATIA V5 on 3, 4 & 5-Axis Machines. 2) Hands on experience in SIEMENS 810D, 840D, FANUC & HeidenHain control 3) Good knowledge of cutting tools 4) Good Knowledge of cutting parameters needed for Aluminum alloys, Steel,Titanium, Inconel, etc. 5) GD&T proficiency. Preferred Competencies: 1) Aerospace manufacturing background in composites, machined parts. 2) Adhering to Quality Manual and AS9100 Rev D requirements. 3) Interpret inspection and CMM data to analyse result
